HASAKEE Q10 – Affordable HD camera drone with 2 batteries
The Hasakee Q10 is a foldable HD camera drone that comes with no less than two batteries for up to 20 minutes of flight time. The compact quadcopter is best suited for beginners as well as a drone for children from about 10 years old.
Design and weight
The housing of the Q10 drone shines in noble black-orange and has a sporty-looking shape. On the front, you will find two bright LEDs that help you easily distinguish the front and back of the copter in the air.
The foldable quadcopter is well-made and measures approximately 20.6 x 19 x 4.3 cm when unfolded. For transport, the four arms can be folded – so the drone fits comfortably in a backpack or even jacket pocket.
If you want, you can attach one of the included propeller guards to each of the four rotors. This protects the drone in case of collisions with walls or furniture, and also prevents bystanders from easily coming into contact with the fast-spinning propellers.
Under supervision, the Hasakee Q10 is therefore also suitable as a drone for children from about 10 years.
The remote control with fold-out smartphone holder has the same colorful look as the drone and fits well in the hand. In addition to the two obligatory control joysticks, there are also various buttons on the controller to select the various functions of the drone. By the way, the antenna of the remote control is integrated into the holder for the smartphone.
To operate the controller, three AAA batteries or rechargeable batteries are still needed, which are not included.
The weight of the Hasakee Q10 is just 65 grams (69 grams with propeller guard), which, together with its small size, contributes to the drone’s easy transportability.
Features and flight characteristics
Like almost every drone, the Hasakee Q10 first needs to be connected to the remote control and then calibrated before launch. Both works in no time and is well explained in the instruction manual.
Taking off and landing the drone is very easy with the push of a button or manually. In the air, the Q10 automatically maintains the current flight altitude (Altitude Hold), so that the thrust control does not have to be permanently pressed.
If the quadcopter drifts in one direction while hovering, it can be easily stabilized (trimmed) using the arrow keys on the controller.
There are a total of three different speeds to choose from for the flight. This way, you can gradually get used to handling the drone.
If you want, you can also control the Hasakee Q10 without a controller, just with your smartphone. For this, however, the app “Hasakee Q10” must first be downloaded. The app can be found either via the QR code in the instructions or directly in the App Store and is available for free download for Android and iOS devices.
By the way, you can fly both indoors and outdoors. However, due to its light weight, you should only take off with the Hasakee Q10 outdoors in calm or light winds if possible.
Flight time and range
The flight time of the Hasakee Q10 is about 8 to 10 minutes – per battery. Since the drone comes with two batteries from the factory, a total of up to 20 minutes of flight time is possible before the batteries need to be recharged.
The charging time is about 70 minutes per battery. Since two USB charging cables are included, both batteries can be charged at the same time. For charging, simply connect the USB charging cables to a smartphone charger or connect them directly to a PC, laptop or powerbank.
The control range is approximately 33 to 66 yards (30 to 60 meters). Please note that obstacles such as trees or buildings reduce the range and other signal sources can also interfere with the transmission. The distance at which you can receive the live FPV image from the drone camera is a maximum of 33 yards (30 meters).
The camera of the Hasakee Q10
The Hasakee Q10’s HD camera can take photos and record video in 1280 x 720 pixels. To capture different perspectives, the camera can be manually tilted up to 90° before flight, from horizontal forward to vertical down.
The quality of the photos and videos is okay for this price range, but of course does not come close to more expensive camera drones.
Flight Modes
Unfortunately, the Hasakee Q10 does not have a Follow Me mode. But it does have a kind of waypoint navigation, where you can draw a flight route in the app, which the drone then flies independently.
Beginners in particular will also be happy about the so-called headless mode. If you activate this mode, you have a simplified control system at your disposal. If it normally depends on how the drone is currently positioned in the air when changing direction, its orientation does not matter in headless mode.
Simply press in the desired direction on the controller and the Hasakee Q10 will follow your command, no matter which direction the front of the drone is currently facing. However, we recommend that you do not fly in headless mode for too long and also learn the normal controls, as by far not all drones have such a mode.
For acrobatic flight maneuvers, the drone offers the possibility to perform 3D flips in all four directions. For this, you simply press the flip button and then move the right control stick in the desired direction.
The gesture control is especially useful for taking selfies, as it can be used to trigger photos and videos. Simply stand in front of the drone at a distance of 2 to 3 meters and form your fingers into the Victory sign (photo) or stretch out your palm towards it (video).
A rudimentary voice control is also built in, with which you can give the Hasakee Q10 simple control commands. However, the voice control only works with commands like “forward”, “backward”, “left”, “right”, etc.

The Hasakee Q10 is an affordable drone for beginners and kids and offers a swiveling HD camera for taking photos and videos. For transportation, the copter can be folded for straightforward transport.
We really like the fact that the drone comes with two batteries for a total of up to 20 minutes of flight time. Thanks to the robust construction and the propeller protection, the model promises a long service life. The control is extremely simple and therefore no problem even for absolute novices.
